Military Spending Policy |
|
| |
Military spending has
increased to the point where it is out of control. It actually weakens
our ability to fight terrorism. We are spending billions of dollars to
fight conventional enemies in conventional wars when there are no
countries left who can threaten us, and the real enemy is terrorism by
small, international groups. We are not spending enough money on
strategies and devices which would diminish the threat of future
attacks.
We must improve the quality of our intelligence sources. We must stop
the development of new nuclear weapons and stop selling weapons around
the globe. We must stop spending billions of dollars to try to gain
control of Middle East oil supplies |
